The MTP2822, a high speed 8 inch per sec 200 dpi 2 inch printer is introduced that has USB, Network, Serial and Parallel interfaces. The printer features a 6 " (152.4mm) diameter paper supply that yields aproximately 500 feet (169m) of output allowing for maxium integration felxibility.
The MTP2832, a high speed 8 inch per sec 200 dpi 3 inch printer is introduced that has USB, Network, Serial and Parallel interfaces. This printer has a rotary auto cutter tht has a opertaional life of 1 million cuts. The printer has available print drivers for both Windows 2000 and XP.
2010
Telpar launches online ordering for paper rolls and ribbons.
2009
Telpar is selected as a Seiko Instruments distributor.
The MTP-7632, a 3 inch printer is introduced at Kioskcom. This printer has USB, serial and parallel interface connectivity and print speeds up to 5.9 inches per second allowing for increased productivity. The printer has both horizontal and vertical paper roll configurations allowing for use in a wider array of enclosure designs.
The MTP-7582, a 8 ½ inch (216mm) thermal printer was also introduced at Kioskcom. This printer delivers print speeds up to 4.9 inches per second (125mm/s) and offers both Linux and Windows print drivers. This new printer has USB, serial and parallel connectivity options.
2008
Telpar introduced the MTP2283i USB. This new printer has USB and Ethernet connectivity options that allow for even easier integration and increased productivity in a wider range of self-service and kiosk printer applications, including multimedia kiosks, gift registry, mapping, financial statements, pharmaceutical data, remote printing and product information applications.
Telpar introduced the MTP2822 USB. This new 2-inch printer features USB, serial, parallel and Ethernet interface connectivity, a faster print speed (up to 7+ inches per second) and wider operating temperature range, allowing for increased productivity in a wider range of self-service and kiosk printer applications; including gaming, self-service vending, receipt ticketing, ATM, as well as many remote printing environments.
Telpar implements SAP as its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
2007
Telpar moves its corporate headquarters to Dover, New Hampshire.
2006
Ross Young named President and CEO of PEAK Technologies (PEAK) and Telpar.
PEAK sells Telpar Distribution business to Synnex Corporation. PEAK keeps the Telpar OEM printer business.

Telpar OEM introduces redesigned Telpar Stealth MTP –2283i A4 document sized Direct Thermal Kiosk printer.
Telpar adds the APS direct Thermal printer product line to its product offering.
Platinum Equity completes acquisition of PEAK Technologies and Telpar.
Telpar relocates its engineering and manufacturing operations to Dover, New Hampshire.

RR Donnelley acquires Moore Wallace, Telpar’s parent company.

Telpar acquires AccuScan, a distributor of Auto ID equipment, which positions Telpar as a leading DISTRIBUTOR of Auto ID and POS Products.
Telpar OEM developed the NEW user-friendly, ultra-quiet 8 ½" Telpar Stealth MTP-2283 Direct Thermal Kiosk Printer and the Fujitsu Powered MTP-2200 Series (2", 3" & 4") Kiosk Printers.

Introduced the MTP-1500 Mercury Series Printers, released using Epson thermal print mechanisms.

Introduced the MTP-600 Modular Thermal Printer for Kiosks featuring Fujitsu mechanisms.

PEAK and Telpar is purchased by MOORE Corporation, a leading supplier of document-formatted information, print outsourcing and data-based marketing.

Telpar acquired Syntest Corporation, a recognized leader in the development and manufacturer of direct thermal printer products and controller electronics.
1992
Telpar merged into a wholly owned subsidiary of PEAK Technologies.

Telpar Inc. acquired by group of investors that included affiliates of PEAK Technologies

Telpar added the Epson mini-printer line, which included stand-alone printers, mechanisms, and controller boards.
Telpar developed a number of successful value-added products to complement the NCR and Epson product lines, including custom controller boards.
1984
Telpar launched its value-added DISTRIBUTION business by acquiring the distribution rights to the NCR stand-alone printer line.
1976
Introduced Telpar's first Thermal Mini-Printer Product when it acquired the rights to manufacture a line of OEM thermal printer products from Texas Instruments.
Telpar developed a professional engineering and manufacturing staff to support these products, and designed these printers into a number of significant OEM applications. This became the foundation for the success of Telpar.
